Charlotte Wood has a chapter titled: “The Grit and the Gift” in The Luminous Solution and I think of that word often as I write my dismal first draft (slowly, so slowly). Keep going, Rach! And try to enjoy it (this is what I keep telling myself) x
It's such a useful concept isn't it. Takes quality off the table and allows you to sit with the ugliness of the foundations. Or more usefully, to think of the ugliness as a temporary, necessary part of the process. You hang in there too! x
